As an artist, my passion has always been about creating more than just images; I wanted to create a world that would make people think – about life, about the future, about the consequences of our choices. At Decaydead, I poured years of effort into a dystopian cyberpunk universe, reflecting humanity’s struggles and resilience. Characters like Dark Raven became symbols of rebellion and survival, a mirror of our harsh truths and a call to action. My art, steeped in shadows, wasn’t just a creative outlet – it was my way of inspiring change.

But life is full of mysteries, and I never expected that the world I created to challenge others would end up transforming me in ways I never dreamed possible.

The unexpected Domino Effect of creation

Years ago, as I delved into the apocalyptic world of Decaydead, I imagined a grim future where humanity faced the consequences of its greed, environmental collapse, and a devastating virus. The art was a warning and, in many ways, a cathartic reflection of my inner fears and hopes. Every detail, every stroke, was an extension of my soul, unknowingly setting ripples into the cosmos.

Then came a moment that changed everything. A simple TikTok video I made featuring “Dark Raven” became the spark that altered my destiny (unfortunately I have deleted that account). On the very day my now-wife, Revna, downloaded the app, that video appeared in her feed. Normally, she wouldn’t comment on posts – it wasn’t her style – but something about “Dark Raven” resonated deeply with her. Perhaps it was fate, or the synchronicity of her name – Raven, Revna – but that single moment sparked a conversation that grew into a love neither of us could have foreseen.

We began as friends, exchanging thoughts about art, philosophy, and life. There was even a fun twist: I thought she lived in Egypt, and she assumed I was in Poland, so we spoke in English! Weeks later, we realized we were both living in Greece, and that revelation became a cherished joke we still share with friends today.

From pain to connection…

Before we met, both Revna and I carried deep scars. Life had broken us in ways we rarely shared with others. We were lone wolves, with fractured pasts and fragile hearts, resigned to living solitary lives. Love seemed like a dream we could admire from a distance but never touch.

But as we talked, we discovered something extraordinary – a connection forged not in appearances but in raw, honest conversations. For weeks, we didn’t even share photos; I had a masked, heavily edited profile image, and she had a dark, blurry picture. It was our souls that met first, uncovering shared dreams, unspoken fears, and the wounds we both longed to heal.

The day we decided to meet in person marked a turning point. It wasn’t a dramatic or grand gesture, but an unforgettable moment of connection. She read my tarot cards – a reading that left me awestruck – and painted my face for a Pagan-themed meeting she had online. While she worked, the energy between us was overwhelming. We barely spoke; we couldn’t even look each other in the eye, but we felt something profound. That day, I knew: she was the one. The one who would change everything.

Our lives were complicated back then, and we had to clear our individual paths before coming together fully. But that day was the beginning of a journey that would save us both.

A shared Dream

Fast forward three years, and we’re now living the life we once thought was impossible. Together, we’ve built a world where work, creativity, and love intertwine seamlessly. Revna’s passion for healing and spirituality inspires me every day. Her work at ForBeLeaf.com has transformed not only the lives of her clients but also the way I see the world.

We’ve also built something even more precious – a family. With time, effort, and countless heartfelt conversations, my daughters came to love Revna as much as I do. Together, we’ve created a beautifully blended family with three daughters and a son. The house is often filled with noise – beautiful, joyful noise that’s a testament to our love and perseverance. Even our conflicts become lessons for our children, showing them how respect, communication, and understanding can solve anything.

Our life isn’t perfect, but it’s perfectly ours. We meditate, cook, play video games, and build our dreams together. And even on difficult days, we’ve learned to meet each challenge with openness and love.

A life changed by Art

Looking back, I’m humbled by how my art became the catalyst for everything. The years spent building the Decaydead universe – the late nights, the relentless pursuit of my vision – ultimately led me to the greatest reward of all: Revna.

It’s a powerful reminder of how the smallest actions, the quietest efforts, can ripple out and change the course of your life.

To anyone reading this who feels hopeless or stuck: “don’t give up!” Whatever you’re passionate about, keep going. Whether it’s art, writing, music, or simply surviving, your efforts matter. Life moves in mysterious ways, and the universe has a way of surprising you when you least expect it.

What began for me as a dark, dystopian vision led to a love story, a new life, and a shared purpose. Revna is not just my wife; she is my muse, my healer, my inspiration, my partner, and my future. Together, we’ve turned darkness into light. All because I followed my passion.

Final Thoughts

Our story isn’t just about us – it’s about the resilience of the human spirit and the transformative power of creation. If there’s one thing we’ve learned, it’s this: your dreams matter. Your efforts matter. And even in the darkest moments, there’s a spark waiting to ignite your future.

If our story inspires you, share it with someone who needs hope. And remember, Revna and I are always here to listen if you need someone to talk to. The path isn’t always easy, but it’s worth every step.

If you had a chance to leave your cell, would you use every single cell you got to grab it?

I know, I would. As a matter of fact, I did. I had to. You see, ‘normal’ can be something totally different for you than what it is to me. And that’s okay. No judgment. Neither you or I can be sure which one is right.. and why should we?

I only care if you’re happy.. Are you happy?

Does it get too much sometimes? I know it does. The pressure consumes you, anxiety is a serious enemy. Your overthinking must be killing you. Unless you’re not an overthinker and you’re just practical… right? Where does your practice keep getting you? Do you get the results you’re craving? I hope you do.

Are you comfortable enough in your skin? In your clothes? In your family? Does your house feel like home?

Don’t answer to me. I don’t need to hear it. You do. They say, be careful of what you’re thinking because it is that one step before action. What are you thinking.. I wonder. No worries.

I will keep this secret of yours if you keep mine… come closer…
